RESOLUTION NO. 90-0~
A RESOLUTION DEDICATING LAND FOR PARK PURPOSES PURSUANT TO
ARTICLE XIX SECTION 3 OP THE ASHLAND CITY CHARTER.
WHEREAS, the City Council has acquired certain properties for park
purposes; and
WHEREAS, the Ashland Park and Recreation Commission has requested that
said properties be dedicated for park purposes in order that
the sites may be improved.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the properties described in Exhibit "A" attached
hereto and made a part hereof are hereby dedicated for park purposes
pursuant to Article XIX, Section 3 of the Ashland City Charter.
The foregoing Resolution was READ and DULY ADOPTED at a regular
meeting of the City Council

Parcell. Smav ProDerty.
Beginning at a point on the section line, 3.61 chains North of the
Southeast corner of the Northeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of
section 17 in Township 39 South, Range 1 East of the Willamette
Meridian in Jackson County, Oregon; thence North 36 35' West 5.75
chains to the center of Granite Street; thence North 17 West, 2.05
chains; thence North 65 East 5.4 chains; thence South 7 43' West
33.0 feet; thence South 37 20' East 84.0 feet, more or less, to a
point on the east line of said section 17, thence South along said
east line to the true point of beginning.
Code 5-1, Account 1-9534-2, Map 391E17AA, Tax Lot 900.
Parcel 2. Granite Street Reservoir/storaqe Yard.
All that tract or parcel of land deeded to the City of Ashland;
Jackson County, Oregon by various deeds and documents and lying
southerly of the line common to sections 8 and 17 and 9 and 16 and
bounded on the West by Granite Street and on the East by Glenview
Drive.
Excepting therefrom those tracts of land as described in document
number 76-11419 and in volume 558, page 244 and in document number 78-
06676 of the deed records of Jackson County, Oregon.

Parcel 3. Strawberry Lane ProDerty.
A tract or parcel of land situated in the North half of Section 8,
Township 39 South, Range 1 East of the Willamette Meridian, Jackson
County, Oregon, and being more fully described as follows:
Commencing at a found 2 inch iron pipe situated at the quarter corner
common to sections 5 and 8, Township 39 South, Range 1 East of the
Willamette Meridian, Jackson County, Oregon; thence South 00 13'53"
East, 1333.07 feet to a 5/8 inch iron rod; thence South 00 13.' 53" East
along that Boundary Line by Agreement recorded as Document No. 78-
09396, Official Records of Jackson County, Oregon 532.67 feet to a
found 5/8 inch iron rod; thence South 39 16'34" West, 158.61 feet to a
found 5/8 inch iron rod situated in the Southerly boundary line of the
North half of the Southwest quarter of the Northeast quarter of said
section 8; thence leaving said Boundary Line, South 89 58'11" West,
(record per recorded survey #7225, South 89 58'10" West) along the
last hereinabove referred to Southerly boundary line, 67.93 feet to a
found 5/8 inch iron rod situated at the Southwest corner of the North
half of the Southwest quarter of the Northeast quarter of said section
8; thence South 89 55'41" West along the Southerly boundary line of
the North half of the South half of the Northwest quarter of said

section 8, a distance of 197.17 feet to a 5/8 inch iron rod for the
True Point of Beginning; thence continue South 89 55'41" West, along
said Southerly boundary line 633.98 feet to a 5/8 inch iron rod

recorded as document no. 78-09397, said Official Records; thence
leaving the Southerly boundary line as last hereinabove referred to,
North 00 13'53" West along that Boundary Line by Agreement, as last
hereinabove referred to, 658.94 feet to a found 5/8 inch iron rod;
thence leaving said Boundary Line by Agreement, South 89 51'44" East,
633.995 feet to a 5/8 inch iron rod; thence South 00 13'53" East,
along the Westerly line of an unnamed dedicated street, 656.62 feet to
the point of beginning, containing 9.57 acres more or less.
Subject to those slope and utility easements as set forth on that
Major Land Partition filed for record the 14th day of April, 1987 and
recorded in Volume 2, Page 86 of the "Major Land Partitions" in
Jackson County, Oregon.
