ORDINANCE NO. 2275
AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING AHENDHENTS TO THE
TEXT OF THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN ADOPTED
BY ORDINANCE NOo 2227.
THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOVlS:
SECTION 1. The text of the Comprehensive Plan as adopted by
Ordinance No. 2227 is hereby amended as set forth in Exhibit "A"
attached hereto and incornorated bv reference as if set forth in
full herein. ~ ~
The foregoing ordinance was fi rs t read on the / J7;i/!.- day

SEc;rION 1. Ordinance No. 2227 and Chapter II, Introduction
ancr-1TeITriTtions Section of the Comprehensive Plan document,
page 11-6, first paragraph, shall be amended by deleting
the sentence beginning with "They are not available" and
replacing it with the following:
"These lands are committed to eventual urbanization due
to the small lot sizes (averaging less than 1 acre gener-
ally). They are a low priority for development in this
planning period, but wil] become more readily available
in a longer time frame toY' urban development."
SECTION 2. Ordinance No. 2227 and Chapter XII, Urbanization

paragraph beginning h'i th "T\-v'o areas have been included" shall
be amended by changing the entire paragraph to read as foI-

"Three areas have been included in the urban growth
boundary as Single-family Reserve. Two outside the City
limits, (Wright's Creek area, and Crowson Road area), and
one inside (North Mountain Street). This is either be-
cause the land mayor will be within the service boundary
of the sewer or water supply because of topographic
reasons, or is already committed to development due to
small parcel sizes. The North Mountain and Crowson Road
areas are for the most part already served by City sewer
and water. The areas are not needed for the projected
housing demand."
