ORDINANCE NO. 2295
AN ORDINANCE AlfENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2052, THE LAND-
US]~ ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND, AND SECTION
18.12.030 OF THE ASHLAND MUNICIPAL CODE, TO REZONE
- CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM JACKSON COUNTY RR-5 (RURAL RESI-
DENTIAL 5 AC. MIN.). TO CITY R-1:3.5 (SINGLE FAMILY
RESIDENTIAL). (Shapiro Annexation)
THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 2052 and Section 18.12.030 of the Ashland
Municipal Code be, and the same hereby is, amended to rezone from Jackson
County RR-5 (Rural Residential - 5 Acre Min.) District, to City R-1:3.5
(Single Family Residential) District, the following described real prop-
erty, to-wit:
Conrnencirug at the quarter section corner common to Sections 11 and 14, Township
39 South "" Range 1 East of the Wil1amette Base and Meridian, Jackson County,
.Oregon; thence North 8905410611 West along the section line common to said
sections" 674.53 feet to the intersection with the centerline of Tolman CreeL
Road, as said road has been resurv,eyed and monumented; thence leaving said
section line, North 00004'0911 East along the centerline of said road as hereto-
fore set forth, 1325.05 feet; thence leaving said centerline, North 89009'1911
West. 30.00 feet to a 5/8 x 30 inch iron pin situated in the Westerly right
of way of-Tolman Creek Road for the True Point of Beqinning; thence continuing
North 89(.0911911 West, 289.69 feet to a 5/8 x 30 inch iron pin; thence
South 05054'5311 West, 3.10 feet to a found 5/8 inch iron pin situated at
the North-Nortneast corner of that tract or parcel of land as set forth in
City of J\shland Ordinance No. 2109; thence North 89031' 33" West along the
present city limits line, as set forth in the hereinabove referred to ordinance,
340.84 feet to a found 5/8 inch iron pin; thence leaving said city limits line.
North 00007'2211 East, 448.44 feet to a found 3/4 inch iron pipe; thence
South 89028154" East, 249.88 feet to a found 1/2 inch galvanized iron pipe;
thence continuing South 8902815411 East, 380.53 feet to a 5/8 x 30 inch iron
pin situated in the ~Iesterly right of way of Tolman Creek Road, as said road
has been resurveyed and shown on Recorded Survey No. 5613; thence South 00004' 09"
West along said Westerly" right of way, 446.74 feet to the point of beginning.
Containing 6.474 Acres, more or less. --
Subject 100 any and/or easements and/or rights of way of record and those
apparent on the land.
The foregoing ordinance was first read on the ~7th day of February,
1984, and duly PASSED and ADOPTED this 21st day of February, 1984.
