AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2052, THE LAND-
USE ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND AND SECTION
18.12.030 OF THE ASHLAND MUNICIPAL CODE, TO REZONE
CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM JACKSON COUNTY RR-5 TO CITY OF
ASHLAND R-1-10 (REEDER ANNEXATION)
THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 2052 and Section 18.12.030 of the
Ashland Municipal Code, are hereby amended by rezoning from
Jackson County RR-5 (Rural Residential - 5 acre min.) to City
of Ashland R-1-10 (Single-family Residential) the property
desc]~ibed in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part
hereof.
The foregoing Ordinance was first read on the 17th day of
November, 1987 and duly PASSED and ADOPTED this la::t day of
December, 1987.

PROPERTY DESCRIPTION
.A parcel or tract of land situated in the Southeast Quarter of
Section 15, Township 39 South, Range 1 East, Willamette Meridian,
Jackson County, Oregon, more fully described:
Commencing at a 2 1/2 inch diameter brass disk monumenting the
Southeast corner of Donation Land Claim Number 45, Township 39
South.. Range 1 East, Willamette Meridian, Jackson County, Oregon;
thence South 1553.49 feet; thence West 387.81 feet to a 5/8 inch
iron pin situated on the southerly right of way of Peachy Road as
established by the instrument recorded in Volume 18, Pages 577
and 578 of the Jackson County Commissioner's Journal, 1923, and
the True Point of Beginning; thence, leaving said southerly right
of way, North 000 19' 3111 East 40.00 feet (Deed Record North) to
a point situ~ted on the northerly right of way of said Peachy
Road; thence, along said right of way, North 890 49' 34" West
183.48 (Deed Record West); thence, leaving said northerly right
of way, South 000 19' 3111 West 40.00 feet (Deed Record South) to
a 5/8 inch iron pin situated on the southerly right of way of
said Peachy Road; thence, leaving said right of way, South 000
19' 3111 West 552.41 feet (Deed Record South 554.0 feet) to a 5/8
inch iron pin situated on the northerly right of way of Bristol
Street; thence, along said right of way, South 890 49' 3411 East
183.48 feet (Deed Record East) to a 5/8 inch iron pin; thence,
leaving said right of way, North 000 19' 31" East 552.41 feet
(Deed Record North 554.0 feet) to the True Point of Beginning.
Said parcel contains 2.495 acres.
