AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2052, THE LAND-USE
ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND AND SECTION 18.12.030 OF
THE ASHLAND MUNICIPAL CODE, TO RE-ZONE CERTAIN PROPERTY
FRO~I JACKSON CO. F-5 TO CITY OF ASHLAND R-2 (MCFADDEN
ANNE:XATION)
THE PEOPIJE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION ]~. Ordinance No. 2052 and Section 18.12.030 of the Ashland
Municipal Code, are hereby amended by rezoning from Jackson County
F-5 (Open Space) to City of Ashland R-2 (Multi-family Residential)
the prope!rty described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, and made a

AREA TO BE INCLUDED IN ANNEXATION
Commencing at the South one-quarter (1/4) corner of See tion 14 in
Township 39 South, Range 1 East of the Willamette Meridian in Jackson County,
Oregon; thence, along the South line of said Section, North 890 49' 45" West
640. 00 feet (record South 890 41' West 621.5 feet) to the East right-of-way
line of Tolman Creek Road; thence North 00002' 25" West (record North 0015'
West) 1235.00 feet to the Northwest corner of tract described in Deed recorded
in Volume 363, page 256 of the Deed Records of Jackson County, Oregon; thence,
along the North line of- said tract, South 890 49' 45" East 287.00 feet to the
POINr OF BEGINNING; thence continue South 890 49' 45" East 22.19 feet, to the
East line of the West one-half (1/2) of the East one-half (1/2) of the
Southeast one-quarter (1/4) of the Southwest one-quarter (1/4) of Section 14;
thence North 000 01' 27" East (record North 000 02' West), along said East
line, 85.94 feet (record 86.01 feet), to the Northeast corner thereof; thence
along the South line of the Northeast one-quarter (1/4) of the Southwest one-
quarter (1/4) of said Section 14, South 890 56' 51" East 24.44 feet (record
South 890 47' 44" East .24.40 feet), to the Southerly right-of-way of Siskiyou
Boulevard; ,thence along said right-of-way, North 560 06' 05" West, 221.45 feet

Notice is hereby given that a PUBLI6 HEARING on the following
request 'with respect to the ASHLAND LAND USE ORDINANCE will be held
before the ASHLAND PLANNING COMMISSION on the 8th day of February.
1989 at 7:00 p.m. at the ASHLAND CIVIC CENTER, 1175 East Main
street, Ashland, Oregon. At such Public Hearing, any person is
entitled to be heard.
The ordinance criteria applicable to this application are
attached to this notice. Oregon law states that failure to raise
an objection concerning this application, either in person or by
.letter, precludes your right of appeal. Failure to specify which
ordinance criteria the objection is based on also precludes your
right of appeal.
If ){ou have any questions or comments concerning this request,
please feel free to contact the Ashland Planning Department, city
Hall, at 408-5305.
NOTE: This request will also be reviewed by the citizens
Planning Advisory Committee at 7:30 p.m. on February 2, 1989, at
the Ashland Pioneer Hall, 73 Winburn Way, (American Legion
Building) Ashland, Oregon.
