ORDINANCE NO. 2159
~~ ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2052, THE LAND-
USE ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND, AND SECTION
18.12.030 OF THE ASHLAND MUNICIPAL CODE, TO REZONE
CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM JACKSON COUNTY RR-5 (RURAL
RESIDENTIAL 5 AC. MIN.), TO CITY RR-2.5 (RURAL
RESIDENTIAL 2.5 ACRE MIN.) (AIRPORT ANNEXATION)
THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 2052 and Section 18.12.030 of
the Ashland Municipal Code be, and the same hereby is, amended to
rezone frrnn Jackson County RR-5 (Rural Residential - 5 Ac. Min.)
District, to City RR-2.5 (Rural Residential - 2.5 Ac. Min.) District,
the following described real property, to-wit:
Commencing at the East-Southeast corner of Donation Land Claim-No. 52,
Township 39 South, Range 1 East, Willamette Meridian, Jackson County,
Oregon; thence North 0014'15" East 271.10 feet; thence North 39032'
West 46.90 feet to a 5/8" iron pin located on the West boundary of the
"Dead Indian" County Road for the true point of beginning; thence,
North 0014115" East along said road boundary 1745.50 feet; thence, North 82030'
West 904.72 feet; thence North 390321 West 1906.69 feet to an intersection
with the East boundary of Donation Land Claim No. 48 of said township and
range, at a point South 0000'50" East 2085.49 feet from the Northeast corner
of said Donation Land Claim No. 48; thence along the East line of said
Claim No. 48, North 00000'50" West 58.69 feet; thence leaving said East
