ORDINANCE NO. 1751
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1361, ,WHICH PERTAINED TO THE
ZONING OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Section 13 entitled "C-I or Commercial--Retail
District." Subsection 3 is hereby amended to add thereto a new sub-
part to read as follows:
"(j) Printing, publishing or lithography."
SECTION 2. Section 14 entitled "C-2 or Commercial--
Downtown District." Subsection 3 is hereby amended to add. thereto a
new subpart to read as follows:
"(g) Printing, publishing or lithography.".
SECTION 3. That inasmuch as it is deemed nec~ssary, for the
public health, peace and safety of the citizens of the City of Ashland,
that the provisions shall be made immediately operative, it is hereby
declared that an emergency exists and this Ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage by the Council and
approval by the Mayor.
The foregoing Ordinance was first read at a regular meeting
of the Common Council held on the /74 day of October, 1972, and
passed to its second reading and duly passed on the ?1d day of
