AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND,
OREGON TO CHANGE THE DESIGNATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTIES TO "HIGHWAY
COMMERCIAL".
THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The designation of certain land is hereby
changed in the Ashland Comprehensive Plan to Highway Commercial. Such
land is located near the Northeast quadrant of Highway 66 and Inter-
state 5 (1-5) and is more particularly described on Exhibit "A" hereto,
which is incorporated herein. Further, said land is shown on the
illustrative diagram which is marked Exhibit "B" hereto and incorporated
herein.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force and effect not less than 30 days from and after its passage and
approval by the Mayor and after receipt of an Affidavit or other proof
satisfactory to the City that a valid contract has been entered into
for the construction of a Motel in accord with an Agreement between the
City of Ashland and the developers of Ashland Hills; however, if such
proof is not received within two (2) years from the date of the passage
of this Ordinance, this Ordinance shall be null and void.
The foregoing ordinance was first read on the 9th day of
August, 1977 and duly RASSED and ADOPTED thislt?'hday of A~usf ,
