ORDINANCE NO. 1622
An ordinance amending Ordinance No. 1361, the zoning ordinance
of the City of Ashland, to rezone certain property from R-l:B-8 or
Residen1:ial - Single Family District to C-l or Commercial - Retail
District. .
~~REAS, the Planning Commission and Common Council have held
hearings on the question of rezoning the hereinafter described prop-
erty, and
WHE:REAS, both the Planning Commission and the Common Council
deem it to the best interests of the City of Ashland that said
rezoning' be permitted,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND DO ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.
That Ordinance No. 1361 be, and the same hereby is, amended
to rezone from R-l:B-8 or Residential - Single Family District to
C-I or Commercial - Retail District the following described prop-
er~, to-wit:

Beginning at the Southwest corner of the Edmonds
Subdivision in the Cit~ of Ashland, Jackson County,
Ore9on: thence South 0 10' East 303.00 feet to the
true point of beginning, said point being 200 feet
Northeasterly at right angles to the Northeasterly
lin~ of Siskiyou Boulevard CU. S. Highway #99 South):
thence continue South 0010' East 240.00 feet to said
Northeasterly line: thence South 56013' East along
said line 250.00 feet: thence North 0010' West 240.00
feet: thence North 56013' West 250.00 feet to the
true point of beginning.
The foregoing ordinance was duly passed, under a suspension
of the rules, at a regular meeting of the Common Council held on
the ~ 3l!'/ day of September, 1969, the vote being as follows:
