A~ Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 1361, the Zoning
Ordinance of the City of Ashland, to Rezone Certain Property
from R"'1:B-8 or Residential - Single Family District to
R-3-l.2 or Residential - Multiple Family District.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission and Common Council have
held hearings on the question of rezoning the hereinafter
described property; and
WHEREAS, both the Planning Commission and the Common
Council deem it to the best interests of the City of Ashland
that sfid rezoning be permitted.
N0W, THEREFORE, THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.
That Ordinance No. 1361 be, and the same hereby is,
amended to rezone from R-l:B-8 or Residential - Single Family
District to R-3-l.2 or Residential - Multiple Family District
the following described property, to-wit:
Beginning at the intersection of the northerly line of
Siskiyou Boulevard with the easterly line of Clay
Street in the City of Ashland, Jackson County, Oregon;
thence, North along said easterly line 180 feet; thence,
East 10 feet to the true point of beginning; thence,
continue East 160 feet; thence, South 75 feet; thence,
N 560 13' W 177 feet more or less to the true point of
beginning.
T~e foregoing ordinance was first read at a regular meeting of
the Co~mon Council held on December 15, 1970, and passed to its
second reading and duly passed on the 5~ day of January, 1971,
the vote being as follows:
