ORDINANCE NO. 1671
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE No. 1361, THE ZONING ORDINANCE
OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND, TO REZONE CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM C-2,
COMMERCIAL-DOWNTOWN AND R-3-l.2, RESIDENTIAL - MULTIPLE FAMILY,
TO R-l:B-lO, RESIDENTIAL - SINGLE FAMILY.
,mEREAS, The Planning Connnission and Common Council
have held hearings on the question of rezoning the hereinafter
described property; and
WHEREAS, both the Planning Connnission and the Connnon
Council dteem it to be the best interests of the City of Ashland
that said rezoning be permitted,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 1361 be, and the same
hereby is, amended to rezone from C-2, Commercial - Downtown and
R-3-1.2, Residential - Multiple Family, to R-l:B-lO, Residential
Single F~nily the following described property, to-wit:
Beginning at the Southeast corner of Lot#9
in Block #1 of the City of Ashland , Jackson
County, Oregon; thence, S 83020' W along the
Northerly line of Winburn Way 156.60 feet to
the true point of beginning; thence, N 3030' W
63.00 feet; thence, N 86027' E 28.00 feet; thence
N 3033' W 85.00 feet; thence N 8'6027' E 14.00
feet; thence, N 3033' W 88.50 feet; thence,
N 86027' E 13.00 feet; thence, N 3033' W 33.50
feet; thence, 86027' E 7.00 feet; thence, N30
33' w 62.00 feet; thence, N 86027' E 4.00 feet;,
thence N 30 33' W 5.00 feet to the beginning of
a 64 foot radius curve to the right; thence, on
the arc of said curve 60 feet more or less to
an intersection with the Northerly line of the
I.O.O.F. lodge property; thence, N 86027' E along
said northerly line 67.00 feet more or less to the
Westerly line of North Main Street; thence N 3033'
W along said Westerly line 26.00 feet; thence
N 29050' W along said Westerly line 100.70 feet
to the Easterly line of Granite Street; thence,
S 37030' W along said Easterly line 381.00 feet
more or less to an angle point; thence, S 22000' W
18.00 feet; thence, S 66010' E 79.70 feet; thence,
S 5045' E 55.20 feet; thence S 9030' W 16.70 feet;
thence, S 25035' W 116.00 feet to an intersection
with the northerly line of Winburn Way extended
Westerly; thence, N 83020' E along said extended
line of street 131.00 feet to the true point of
beginning.
