ORDINANCE NO. 1496
An ordinance amending Ordinance No. 1361 as amended, the zoning
ordinance of the City of Ashland, and declaring an emergency.
~?n:iEREJ.~~S, by Ordinance No. 1428 I the City of Ashland made certain
amend-rnents to Ordinance No. 1361, 'the zoning ordinance of the City
of Ashland, and
WHEREAS, the Planning Con~ission had not intended to recommend
three of the changes so made, and said Ordinance No. 1428 was passed
without knowledge that the Planninq' Commission desired that certain
changes not be made, and
WHEREAS, the Common Council deems it in the best interests of
the City to again amend Ordinance No. 1361 so that the aforementioned
three amendments can be the same as in the original ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND DO ORDAIN
P..S FOLLOWS:
Section 1.
That Section 27 of Ordinance No. 1361 entitled Fences be, and
the same hereby is, amended by the repeal of subsection (5) thereof.

Section 2.
That Section 34 of Ordinance No. 1361 entitled Vision Clearance
Area be, and the same hereby is, amended by the repeal of subsection
(4) thereof.
Section 4.
Due to the fact that certain amendments to Ordinance No. 1361

were passed by Ordinance No. 1428 because of a misunderstanding as
to the desires of the Planning Commission and such amendments should
be correc1:ed immediately, it is deE?med necessary for the publ ic
health and safety of the citizens of the City of Ashland that an
emergency be, and the same is here1)y, declared to exist, and this
ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage by the Council and approval by the Mayor.
The foregoing ordinance was duly passed, under a suspension of
the rules " at a regular meeting of the Common Council held on the
