HomeMy WebLinkAboutGuidelines for Public Forum Charter Review Committee Speaker Request Form The Charter Review committee values citizen comment on our work in reviewing the City Charter. ? The Public Forum is the time to speak to any item related to the Charter, which is not included on the agenda. ? Only agenda items listed as “Open for Public Input” are open for public input. Not all agenda items are open. ? Public comment is not a time for debate or discussion but rather an opportunity for the public to give their input to the committee. Committee members may ask questions of the speaker to clarify statements, but will not engage in a discussion or debate with the speaker. A comment offered on an agenda item does not allow the participant to continue commenting throughout the meeting deliberations. ?
