At the request of the Ashland city council, a 9-member committee is reviewing the charter to determine what changes if any should be made---and they want and need input from Ashland citizens. Please join committee members on Thursday, January 20 at 7:00 p.m. in the Rogue River Room of Stevenson Union on the SOU campus to discuss and give input on the Ashland City Charter. On Wednesday, January 26 at 7:00 in the Old Ashland Armory on Oak Street, the city is hosting a kick-off event to begin the process shaping the vision of downtown. Mark you calendars and plan to attend. A vision is a touchstone against which future projects and decisions can be weighed and working together we can shape the future of the heart of our community.
