RESOLUTION NO. 93-37
A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING RATES FOR T-HANGARS, TIE DOWN SPACES,
INDIVIDUAL HANGAR LAND LEASES AND RESERVATION DEPOSITS AND REPEALING
RESOLUTION 93-34.
THE CITY OF ASHLAND RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The following rental/lease rates are established for facilities at the Ashland Municipal
Airport:
A. T-hangars with doors
B. T-hangars without doors
C. Tiedown space
D. Tiedown space
E. Individual land lease

$115.00 per month
$100.00 per month
$ 24.00 per month
$ 3.00 per overnight
$ 20.00 per month
SECTION 2. The rates in section l.A. through l.D will be increased annually on July I based on
the Engineering News Record Construction Cost Index (ENR). The initial ENR is established as 4927
for l.A through l.D. The annual rate increase t(lr I.E. is as established within the individual leases.
SECTION 3. The following hangar reservation fee is established for any person or business prior to
placing the name on the hangar reservation list.

SECTION 4. Classification of the fee. The fees specitled in Sections 1 and 3 of this resolution are
classified as not subject to the limits of Section lib of Article XI of the Oregon Constitution (Ballot
Measure 5).
SECTION 5. The rates in sections l.A. thruugh l.D were in effect July 1, 1992. The other rates
were in effect August 4, 1993.
The foregoing resolution was READ and DULY ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council
of the City of Ashland on the 7th day of ~~pr 1993.

ACTION REOUESTED
City Council adopt the attached resolution amending the land rental fees for 6 individual hangars now
under construction.
BACKGROUND
In the rental fee resolution adopted by the City Council at the August 3, 1993 meeting, I had inserted
incorrect information on the inflation factor for the land rentals for individual hangars. The fee
negotiated with the lessees is based on one-half the Portland Consumer Price Index per year. The
. detailed outline of that is contained within the leases.
Staff recommends approval.
