Billing: Billing and payment under this Agreement shall be made consistent with and as a specific item in the Wholesale Power Bill. The total energy and demand under this Agreement for each billing period are as specified under Table 1 below. These amounts shall be deemed to be delivered. Payment for demand and energy under this Agreement shall be at the price specified in the Pricing Table below. For purposes of determining Ashland's Measured Demand and Measured Energy for PF Rate billing under the requirements power sales contract, the kilowatt demand amounts in Table 1 will be deducted from Ashland's measured peak demand and the energy amounts in Table 1 hereunder will be deducted from Ashland's measured energy for the billing period. The monthly rates for Firm Energy shall be in accordance with Bonneville's rate schedule or its successor, and shall be as specified in section 5(b). The rates for Firm Energy shall include charges for transmission service, transfer service (if applicable), and associated losses over the Federal Columbia River Transmission System to the point(s) of delivery. The rates do not include any applicable reactive power or delivery charges. Ashland agrees to pay Bonneville for reactive power or delivery charges, if any, based on Ashland's total load at the point(s) of delivery, as further described in Bonneville's General Rate Schedule Provisions. Almquist, City Administrator and General Manager City of Ashland 20 E. Main Ashland, OR 97520 Dear Brian: The City of Ashland (Ashland) and Bonneville Power Administration (Bonneville) entered into Power Sales Contract No. 97PB-10107 on May 8, 1997. This Amendatory Agreement clarifies the Point of Delivery (POD) for deliveries of such power. The fourth paragraph on page 2 of Contract No. 97PB-10107 is deleted and replaced with the following paragraph: ''The monthly rates for Firm Energy shall be in accordance with Bonneville's rate schedule or its successor, and is specified in Table 1 of this Agreement. The rate for Firm Energy shall include charges for transmission service, transfer service (if applicable), and associated losses over the Federal Columbia River Transmission System to the point in Bonneville's Mountain Avenue Substation where the 12.5 kV facilities of Bonneville and Ashland are connected; voltage is at 12.5 kV; metering is in Bonneville's Mountain Avenue Substation, in the 12.5 kV circuits over which such electric power and energy flows. Delivery will be by transfer over Pacific Power & Light Company's facilities. The rates do not include any applicable reactive power or delivery charges. Ashland agrees to pay Bonneville for reactive power or delivery charges, if any, based on Ashland's total load at the POD, as further described in Bonneville's General Rate Schedule Provisions." 2 If Ashland agrees to terms of Amendatory Agreement No.1 to Contract No. 97PB-1O 107, please sign both copies and return one copy to me. The remaining copy is for you files. I will provide you an authenticated copy as soon as it is available.
