Director of Public Works Subject: Water Distribution System Model Engineering Services Proposal for Additional Services Dear Ms. Brown: Pursuant to our meeting of June 8,2007, we have identified additional services to be completed under the existing agreement for Water Distribution System Model Engineering Services. To accommodate this work, we propose creating a new task, Task 7, called Additional Modeling Services. The following is a summary of these additional services. Proposed Scope of Work for Task 7 - Additional Modeling Services Sub-Task Scope of Services 7.1 - Model Selection & Conversion . Assist the City in evaluating distribution system model options and identify conversion requirements. . Participate in conference call with City to finalize software selection. . Convert existing model data to new software platform. 7.2 - Project Review Meeting . Modeling subconsultant to attend additional project review meeting (1/30/07) to review draft model structure and system improvements to be evaluated usinq the hydraulic model. 7.3 - Pressure Zone Boundary . For existing system configuration, conduct additional Modifications model runs to identify actual pressure zone boundaries, propose draft zone boundaries for review and comment by the City, and finalize new boundaries. 7.4 - Modeling to Incorporate TAP . Conduct additional distribution system model runs to Supply identify options and implications for future connection to the TAP pipeline. . Identify distribution system storage requirements specific to the TAP pipeline connection. 7.5 - Analysis of Croman Mill and . Conduct additional model runs to identify required Railroad District system improvements associated with future build-out development of the Croman Mill Site and the Railroad District. 7.6 - Completion of IDSE Plan . Assist the City by completing required forms for Submission Forms submission of IDSE monitoring plan to USEPA. Ms. Paula Brown, P.E.
