Second reading by title only of an ordinance of the City of
Ashland amending Chapter 18.108 of the Land Use Title of
the AshlahdMunicipal Code pertaining to procedures.
Second reading 'by title only of an ordinance amending
Section 9.08.170 of the Ashland Municipal Code pertaining
to hours of.operation for construction activities on
weekends and Holidays.

Chapter 6.32 of the Ashland Munic1pal Code relative to
liquor license review (copies furnished pursuant to City
Charter).

Resolution authorizing City Administrator to sign
supplemental agreement with State Dept. of Transportation
for the improvement of Hersey Street.
Resolution waiving requirements for competitive bidding and
performance bonding for specific projects related to the
Downtown Plan.

III. SPECIAL AGENDA ITEMS:
Joint meeting with Ashland Park & Recreation Commission to
discuss the following proposals to be presented to the voters
at an August 14, 1990 Special Election.
1. A proposed Charter Amendment containing the following
provisions:
'a. That the ,tax rate for any open space funding measure
endorsed by the voters could not be changed without
further voter approval.
b. That all monies raised be dedicated first to land
acquisition and then to development.
c. That condemnation would not be used to acquire
ownership of any parcel for open space purposes.
2. Formulating up to four (4) proposed funding measures to be
submitted to the.voters in a "menu" approach.
