ASHLAND PLANNING COMMISSION
STUDY SESSION
MINUTES
AUGUST 22, 2000
CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 7:05 p.m. by Chair Mike Gardiner. Other Commissioners
present were Keri KenCairn, John Fields, Russ Chapman, Mike Morris, Ray Kistler, Alex
Amarotico, and Marilyn Briggs. Chris Hearn was absent. Staff present were John McLaughlin
and Mark Knox.
APPROVAL OF FINDINGS
Briggs moved to approve the Findings for PA2000-079 (Ashland High School) and Fields
seconded the motion. The motion carried unanimously.
KenCairn moved to approve the Findings for PA2000-074 (Oregon Shakespeare Festival) and
Morris seconded the motion. The motion carried unanimously.
ADJOURNMENT
– The meeting was adjourned at 7:10 p.m.

The Planning Commission went to a Joint Study Session with the Tree Commission to discuss
the Draft Tree Ordinance.
