PLANNING ACTION 2000-039 is a request for a Comprehensive
Plan Map Amendment (Multi Family to Downtown commercial),
Zone Change (R-2 to C+D) and Site Design and Use Review for
the construction of an approximately 17,000 sq. ft. addition to
the existing Ashland Public Library located at 410 Siskiyou
boulevard. Application also includes a request to amend the Land
Use Ordinance to reduce the side yard setback requirement in a
commercial zoning district when abutting a Residential zoning
district. Comprehensive Plan Designation: Multi-Family
Residential; Zoning: R-2; Assessor's Map #:ax Lot: 6700.
