members of that Commission to attend our October meeting to discuss alleys,

H. Low-priced Trees -- David Mason will get this going about September.
V. New Business:
A. Site Review -
1. PA 93-075 (310 Oak St., Car Wash) -- Plan appears to meet
requirements; minor suggestion made about cold-hardiness of a
shrub. Overall it looks good.
2. PA 93-067 (284 Hersey 8t.) -- A new landscape plan was not
available, will need to look at this later.
3. PA 93-084 (277 Fifth 8t.) -- Commission did not oppose
removal of the 19" Douglas Fir. They would like to see the new
landscape plan if one is made.
B. Site Review Process -- Nancy passed along the City's concern about
secret meetings. Our idea was that subcommittee Meetings were
preliminary. City may have to advertise both meetings. Subcommittee
meetings will be the Thursday afternoon at 2:00pm, the week before the
regular meeting.
C. Tree Permits -- Forms will go to the Chairperson to distribute.
D. Miscellaneous -- Nancy Slocum was asked to buy Recommended
Street Tree List binders with the money that remains in our account; the
lists we have are depleted, but we want to update the list soon.
Meeting adjourned at 9:00 p.m.
