Attenders: Leslie Van Gelder (Acting Chair) Mark Jenne (Minutes) David Mason Don Laws (Council Liason) John McClendon Donn Todt II. Approval of Minutes - July III. Guests: Dan Harris (PA 93~Og5) IV. Old Business A. $1175 invoice from data input was approved to come out of the $5,000 budget for Nissa Cockrell. Mark is following up on the annoying software bugs; there may be additional expenses that will put us over budget. B. Ordinance changes were approved as modified by Don Laws. Don will run this by the city attorney; at the same time, Mark will try to get on the city council agenda. C. Tree Line USA Status -- Leslie will pursue this. Donn will interface with AI Williams. D. Tree Planting on Lithia Way u postponed, the Saturday Market has planted trees in the worst spots, we can revisit this later. E. Cypress at Briscoe School -- Brian Almquist told Dave Mason that he would look into this and try to schedule after Labor Day. Dave will remind Brian of this in September. F. Revision of Recommended Street Tree List -- Donn Todt and Linda Ryan will work on this in September. G. Tree Permit -- Susan Hunt not present. ASHLAND STREET TREE COMMISSION MINUTES AUGUST 5,1993 v. New Business: A. Site Review - 1. P A 93~095 (Barton Subdivision) -- Dan Harris explained the changes made to the Scenic/Nutley plan, including a 25' conservation easement alongside the path that runs on the east side of the TID ditch. Commission voted to accept the recommendations of the subcommittee, which basically complimented the plan. 2. PA 93-102 (Walker, SOSC) -- good plan. Donn had a few comments which were accepted by the commission. B. Leslie suggests we review goals next month. VI. Meeting adjourned at 8:30 p.m. 2
