PUBLIC FORUM V. TYPE II PUBLIC HEARINGS PLANNING ACTION: THIS ACTION HAS BEEN POSTPONED 2006-02231 SUBJECT PROPERTY: 308 N Laurel St. OWNER/APPLICANT: Kurtz-Walsh Property, LLC and Rick Landt DESCRIPTION: Request for Subdivision approval of an seven-lot subdivision consisting of six lots for commercial development and an seventh commonly-owned lot to accommodate landscaping, parking and circulation, for the properties located at 308 N Laurel. Site Review approval is requested for the commercial buildings. A Tree Removal Permit is requested to remove four trees six-inches in diameter at breast height and greater in size. An Administrative Variance to the Site Design and Use Standards is requested to allow a 4 to 6-foot landscape buffer between the front of a building and the sidewalk where a 10-foot buffer is required. An Exception to the Street Standards is requested to provide a six foot sidewalks on Laurel St. and seven-foot sidewalks on Hersey St. where 8 to 10-foot sidewalks are required in commercial areas.
