APPROVAL OF MINUTES & FINDINGS: Minutes: May 9, 2006 Hearings Board Findings: PA-2006-00456, 2235 Ashland Street, Ashland Family YMCA III. TYPE I PLANNING ACTIONS PLANNING ACTION 2006-00793 A. is a request for Site Review approval for Phase I (Buildings A & B, and a group of mini storage buildings) of a mixed-use development located upon an approximately six-acre 550 Mistletoe Road parcel at . The application is a re-review of a 2004 Planning Commission approval which has since expired. The proposal includes requests for a Tree Removal Permit and a Variance from the minimum required number of bicycle parking spaces for the mini storage portion of the project. COMPREHENSIVE PLAN DESIGNATION: Industrial; ZONING: M-1; ASSESSOR’S MAP #: 39 1E 14 A; TAX LOT: 2302. APPLICANT: Burl Brim PLANNING ACTION 2006-00875 B. is a request for a Conditional Use Permit to modify an existing non-conforming porch and garage and a Variance to the front-yard setback requirement for the property located at 520 Fairview Street . The required front yard setback is 20 feet, and the application proposes to construct an open front porch to within 15.75 feet of the front property line. TYPE II PUBLIC HEARINGS PLANNING ACTION 2006-00878 A. is a request for a Tree Removal Permit to remove a 30-inch Ponderosa Pine Tree from the property located at 1505 Siskiyou Boulevard. The tree proposed for removal is located partially within the Walker Avenue right-of-way. COMPREHENSIVE PLAN DESIGNATION: Commercial; ZONING: C-1; ASSESSOR’S MAP #: 39 1E 15 BA; TAX LOT: 100. APPLICANT: Steve Meister V.
