HomeMy WebLinkAbout2001-04-10 Hearings Board MIN ASHLAND PLANNING COMMISSION HEARINGS BOARD MINUTES APRIL 10, 2001 CALL TO ORDER Vice Chair Russ Chapman called the meeting to order at 1:35 p.m. Other Commissioners present were John Fields and Mike Morris. There were no absent members. Staff present were Mark Knox, Maria Harris, Brandon Goldman, and Sue Yates. APPROVAL OF MINUTES The Minutes of the March 13, 2001 Hearings Board was approved. TYPE I PLANNING ACTIONS PLANNING ACTION 2001-028 REQUEST FOR LAND PARTITION TO DIVIDE A PARCEL INTO TWO LOTS LOCATED AT 147 OHIO STREET. APPLICANT: DON GREENE This action was approved. PLANNING ACTION 2001-030 REQUEST FOR A TWO-PARCEL LAND PARTITION LOCATED AT 699 WALNUT STREET WITH THE REAR PARCEL BEING ACCESSED FROM A FLAG DRIVEWAY. APPLICANT: BARRY & CAROL PEVIN This action was approved. PLANNING ACTION 2001-031 REQUEST FOR SITE REVIEW APPROVAL TO CONSTRUCT EIGHT RESIDENTIAL RENTAL UNITS CONSISTING OF ONE TRIPLEX, AND THREE SINGLE FAMILY DETACHED BUILDINGS FOR THE PROPERTIES LOCATED AT 786 – 790 PARK STREET. THE TWO EXISTING RESIDENCES ON PARK STREET TO BE REMOVED AND REPLACED AS PART OF THE DEVELOPMENT PROPOSAL. APPLICANT: KNECHT DEVELOPMENT This action was approved. PLANNING ACTION 2001-032 REQUEST FOR A SITE REVIEW AND CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF AN 845 SQUARE FOOT ACCESSORY RESIDENTIAL UNIT AT THE REAR OF THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 891 BESWICK WAY. APPLICANT: SCOTT ALLISON This action was called up for a public hearing. PLANNING ACTION 2001-033 REQUEST FOR A SITE REVIEW AND CONDITIONAL UE PERMIT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A ONE- BEDROOM ACCESSORY RESIDENTIAL UNIT AT THE UPPER LEVEL OF THE PROPOSED NEW GARAGE STRUCTURE FOR THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 55 GRANITE STREET. APPLICANT: WILLIAM SAUERS The Historic Commission did not have a problem with design but simply wanted more detail. The applicant provided a new front elevation dated April 6, 2001. The application was approved. ADJOURNMENT – The meeting was adjourned at 2:00 p.m.
