The oouncil met in regular session at 7:30 P. M. this date.
Present: Mayor Wiley, Councilmen Applewhite, Blake, Gregg, Ingle.
Wenner. Absent: Counoilman Hansen.
Minutes of the previous meetings were read and approved as read.
A letter from the Ashland Radio Club oonoerning radio interfer-
ence was read and disoussed. Moved by Applewhite that a oommittee oon-
sisting ot the President and Vice-President of the Radio Club and the
City Superintendent be appointed to work out the cause of this inter-
ferenoe and take steps to oorrect same. Seoonded by Blakeo Carried.
The report of th' Dump Ground was read. Due to the rapid increase
in oosts of the dump ground it was thought best to investigate same
before payment.
The report of the City Judge was read and bill tor oourt oosts
submitted. Moved by Wenner that the City Attorney investigate the
sohedule of charges before payment was authorized. Seoonded by Blake.

Bills amounting to $12721.39 were read as to total amount only.
same having bean oked by the Finance Committee. Moved by Blake that
the bills be allowed. Seconded by Applewhite. Rmll call was ordered
by the Mayor. the vote being, Ayes, 5, Nays 8. Carried.
Commdttee RetOrts:
Litht: Biege brought up the question ot refund of deposits with
interes , also the necessity for requiring deposits from city employees
and responsiblepprties who had ohanged locations. Moved by Wenner that
the ordinance conoerning deposits be revised and referred to the Light
and Water Committee in order to have same oonform to the general pra-
ctice. Seconded by Blake. Carried.
Biegel reported on the Rowley case, also on a family by the name
of Gridley_ Moved by Wenner thatthe C~~P't's recommendation for
granting free water to Mrs. Rowley to . 11, 1935 and free water to
Mrs. Gridley for two months (April & May) e approved. Seoonded and

street: The City Attorney read a letter from the Southern Pacifio
Co. concerning sale of a triangular piece of land, 40 ft. on each side
on the corner of ffB" and Water streets, but no defini te aO,tion taken.
Air Port: Blake reported that a request had been made to have the
runway at the air port cleared. It was referred to the Air Port Committee.
Applewhite reported on several SERA projects which were discussed.
Moved by Wenner thit the project for the Hospital and the Pheasant pens
be approved and estimates for the Mountain ~YeBUe bridge and other
projects be determined. Seconded and carried.
On motion, the council adjourned to meet at the call of the Mayor.
