B111s amounting to $9253.21 were read as to total amount only, same having been oked by thB financ e oommi ttee. Moved by Applewhite and seoond- ed by Basen that the bills be allowed. Roll oall was ordered, the vote being. Ayes 3, 5a18 O. Carried. Applications for t1a ~ollow1ng buill1ng permits were p:resented1 110. 22. Staples was present and spoke on the subJeot of liquor lioens- eSt protesting the limiting of wine licenses to three as suggested by the Chief of Polioe. Yleet insuranoe on oity automobiles was disoussed. MOved by Wenner that the insurance on the fleet be referred to the oity attorney for report at the next meeting. Seoonded b7 Hansen. Carried. A letter from the Oregon State Board ot Aerinaut10s was read and referred to the air port comDdttee. The letter stressed the importanoe of getting funds from the WPA for air port oonstruotion.
