The oouncil met in regular session at 7130 P. M. -this date. Present: Mayor Wiley,
Councilmen Applewhite. Carson, Crandall, Delsman. Tayler. J.b..nt. Counoilman 'Koozer.
The minutes of the previous meeting 'Were read. and approved as read.
Monthly reports of the Eleotrio. Water, street alld Park Departments were read"
acoepted and ordered plaoed on fil., a180 the monthly and annual report of the Reoorder
The tollowing applioations tor building permits were presented:
No. 16: To remodel dwelling at 872 "B" Street at an approximaje coat ot $200.00 by
William Flaokua.
No. 1 T: To remodel building into a double garag e at 153 Oak Street at. an approxi-
mat. cost of $235.00 by D. S. Powell.
No. 18: To erect new garage at 1'76 Skidmore Street at an approximate oost ot
$100000 by V. L. Swinne1~
Ne. 19: T. r~d.l .lephone Office at III Oak Street at an approximate cost of
$200.00 by Frank Jordan.

free list to June 30, 1939. Carried.
Real tyl Carson reported on the lease of the Mobn Mill 8i te t. 1Ihi teher and Apple-
whi.te made the repprt of the investigation. He reoommended that the land, not be leased
to 1Vhi.tohe:e. Upon motion by Tayler, seoonded by Crandall the Moon Mill lease was refer-
red to the City Attorney tor turther investigation. Carried.
Upon motion by Crandall, seoonded by Tayler" the City Attormy was instruoted to
phone to the Cettage Gr.ve man conoerning the pencil faotory removal to Ashland.Carried.
