The 6ounoil met in regular session at 1130 P. M. this date. Presents Mayor Wile7.
Oounoilmen Applewhite, Crandall, Delsman, Koozer. Tayler. Absent. Councilman Carson.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved as read.
Bills amounting "to .9640.01 were read as to total amolmt only, same having been
oked by the various departments, committees and finanoe oommittee and were ordered paidc
The fo llowing applioa tions for building parmi ts were presented.
No. 35. To er~t new residence at 431 Liberty street at an approximate 08st of
$1,600.00 by H. V./~d.ver for Julia Holeak.
No. 36: ,To erect new d~lling at 496 Beaoh Street at an approximate cost of
$3500.00 by ~ara V. Peters.
It was moved by Tayler and seconded by Appl8whi te that the parmi. t8 be granted.
Carried.
The question of water shortage and possible need for water re"lJ"trictions was
brought up and upon motion by Crandall, seoonded by Koozer, the 'a:ter Committee was
authorized to use their desoretion in calling for water restriotions if oonsidered
aeoe8sar,y. Carried.
Monthly report of the City Judge and the quarterly report of the Cem.ejery Depart-
ment were read, aocepted and ordered plaoed on file.
A letter from the County Court, relative to land in the Ashland water shed which
the County held some delinquent taxes against, was read andreferred to the City Attorn-
ey and City Engineer for report, upon motion by Tayler, seoonded and carried.
On motion, the Counoil adjourned to meet at the oall of the Mayor.
