Monthly reports of the Librarian and C:t'ty Judge were reac1, aocepted and ordered
placed on tile. The report ot the City Judge showed. the largest monthly oollection
ever made in the City ot Ashland, totalling '669050.
Bills aaounting to .16,184_22 w.re read as to total ~ount only, aame having been
oked by the various departments, eomm1tteea and finance oommittee and were ordered pai4.
The City A'ttorney read a letter trom. the Jackson County C8amber ot CODlllleroe 00...
cermng the proposed Bybee Bridge Park on Rogue R1 ver and asking that the Mayor of
Ashland sign the petition tor the City. It was JIIOved by Redford and aeconded by Daugh-
er-ty that the Mayor b. authorized to sign. Carried.

Emil Kroeger, past Commander ot Ashland Pos1; Bo. 14 of the American Legion, was
preaent and asked as to the present status of the Pioneer Hall. It havil'lg been dis-
cusa.. as a possible 'Legion Hall. H. _8 iJlf'ormed by the Mayor that the City felt that
aa the building had been improved by a new roof. tha't it should. be put to some uaeful
purpose and that the C1 ty Attorney would work out 80me sort of an agree_n't along that
line.
