The minutes of the previous meetinG were read and approved as read.
Bills amounti:Lg to ~~37,,206.94 were read as to total amount only.. sa.me havIng been
oked by the various depnrtments, corrffllittees and finance COL111littee Hnd were"Y'ordered paid.
Monthly repor'~ of the CitJT Judge was read, accepted and ordered placed on file.
The packaze store license for IvIr.Keslrel was approved upon final reconL.1wndation of
Chief of Police i..lpOn motion by D8.ughert~r.. seconded by Fischborn and c8.l"'ried.
It was reported that ihe mill men wanted to meet with -the fire committee.
Petitions for ravine: ani curb and gutters on 5th street from Eas t Main Street to
A Street were approved.
A new street connecting Wightman and Walker Avenue .was given the name of Webster
Street upon mo',:;ior:.. 'ay Daugherty.. seconded by Weitzel and C:J..J..~ r ied,
Upon motion by Redford.. seconded by Weitzol.. the Council went on record as approv-
ing Plan ItAIt of' the l~ogue River Development Proj ect.
The next order of busL~ess was approval of the budget. Tlill Budget COL~nittee consist-
inG of Harry Morris.. Herald v'ienner.. Elred Tayler, c..;.. IN. Dunn, Lloyd Selby and H. S. Ing-

The entire budcet was gone over first be depart..:nents a:'.ld then in detail and each
acted 1'pon and passed. Following the completion of the budget, it was moved by Tayler
and seconded by Ingle that the budget be adopted. Carried. It-was then luoved by Fisch-
born that it be published as required by law. Seconded and c~ried.
Redford brought u.p the subj ect of renting the house on the cemeter~T lands.
