Ingle, vVenner and the members of the Citizen's Budget Committee as fol-
lows: Fred Tayler, M. C. Lininger, P. R. Hardy, A. E. Kinney, A. J. Mo
Callen, and Dr. W. J. Crandall.
Fred Tayler was eleoted ohairman and P. R. Hardy, seoretary.
Members of the committee and oity council were suuplied with est-
imates which had been finally approved by thr Cowlcil ~t their last meet-
ing. Eaoh department was taken up and disous*ed in order.
Moved by Hardy and seconded by Kinney that the General Government
estimate be approved. Carried. (i5ll2.00)
Moved by McCallen that the estimate of the Police Department be
a~proved. Seconded by Kinney. Carried. ($7977.00)
Moved by McCallen that the estimate of the Fire Department be
approved. Seconded by Kinney. Carried. ($7620.00)
Moved by McCallen that the estimate of the Park Department be
approved up to the 2 mil limit or $4962.00 Seconded by Kinney. Carried.
Moved by McCallen that the estimate 01 the Health Departmeht,
Sanitation and Hospital Departments be approved. Seconded by Kinneyo

Moved by McCallen that the estimate of the street Department be
approved. Seoonded by Kinney. Carried. ($8278.00) ($oOOO.OO Lighting)
Moved by McCallen that the estimate of the Library expenditures be
ap~roved. Seoonded by Kinney. Carriedo ($4507.00)
Moved by McCallen that the estimate of the Recreation Department be
approved. Seconded by Kinney. Carried. ($488.00) .
Moved by McCallen that the estimate of the Misc'ellaneous Department
be approved. Seoonded by Kinney. Carried. ($2080.00)
Moved by McCallen that the estimate of the Sinking Fund be approved.
Seconded by Kinney. Carried. ($22,358.00)
MOved by McCallen that the estimate of the Cemetery Department be
approved. Seoonded by Kinney. Carried. ($3995.00)
MOved by MoCallen that the estimated revenue be approved. Seconded
by Kinney. Carried. ($11828.00)
Moved by MoCallen that the budget as a whole be approved. Seconded
by Hardy. Carried. (Total expenditures $77376 less revenues $11828.00 or
$65148.00)

The budget committee having adjourned, the council prooeeded
with the regular order of buiiness.
Mr. K. V. Hill of Greeley and Hansen, Engineers, was present
and discussed the oontract for the sewage disposal plant. He stated
that the oontraot provided for 4.3 % of the contraot cost of the
plant, exclusive of surveying whioh was estimated at $150.00. Moved
by Wenner that Mr. Hill representing Greely & Hansen be authorized
to go ahead with preparations for the survey and plans and speoific-
ations for the sewage dzsposal plant and intercepting sewers also at
an approximate cost of $3000.00, same to be oontingent upon the pass-
age o~ the oharter amendment. Seconded by Applewhite. Roll call was
ordered, the vote being Ayes 6, Nays O. Carried.
Upon the suggestion of ~~. Hill. it was moved by Applewhite that
a oommittee consisting of the City Attorney, City Superintendent and
the Mayor confer with 1~. Hill ~nd enter into a contract with Greeley
and Hansen. Seconded by Blake. crarried.
MOved by Wenner that a committee consisting Sf ~he City Attorney,
City Superintendent and Applewhite be appointed ~oT~ne details of the
specifications could be referred. Seconded by Ingle. Carriedo
On motion, the oouncil adjourned to meet at the call of the Mayor.
