Ashland, Oregon December 9, 1935.
An adjourned meeting of the Council was called to order by Mayor
Wiley at 5 P. M. on December 9, 1935. Present: Mayor Wiley, Councilmen
Applewhite, Blake, Gregg, Wenner. Absent: Ingle and Hansen. In the
absence of the Recorder, the Mayor appointed Frank VanDyke acting
Recorder to keep the minutes.
Mr. Hill reported that PWa had approved the bid submitted by Dunn &
Baker of Kl.amathFalls, and had authorized the City of Ashland to- enter
into a contract with the firm of Dunn & Baker. Mayor Wiley and Dorothy
Chapple, Deputy Recorder, executed the necessary contracts and signed
the plans and specifiaations for the sewage treatment plant and inter-
cepting sewers.
.Bills in the total amoun t of $12.75 having been approved by t he Gi ty
Superintendent ana Finanae Committee, were presented. It was moved by
Gregg and seconded by Applewhite that the bills be allowed and warrants
be drawn for the payment thereof in the several amounts.
The C;ouncil adjourned to meet in the Council Chambers at 7:30 P. M.
on Deoember 10, 1935.
