An adjourneu. meating of the Common Council was called to order by
Kayor Wiley at 7:30 P. M. this date.
Present: Counoilden; Blake. Ingle. AJ)plewh1 tie t Hansen, Gregg fwd
Wenner.
In the absence of the Hecorder t the l~a~yor appointed Dorothy Chapple t
deputy Reoord..er to write the minutes of the meeting.
The purpose of the meeting, it was sti.ted by' the 1Layol*, YlaS to open
the bids for the l)Urchase of the Sewage DislJosal Bonds.
Bids from the following companies were opened and each respectively
were read by Councilman Wenner, as follows:
A Geo. 'd. Dunn, The J:i'irst i;ational ,Bank of Ashland.
BE. 11. ;'i.dams &.: Co., Portland, Oregon

that the final decision of the awardin~ o~ the sale ot the bonds be post-
poned , until a committee composed of the Chairman of the Finance Comm1tte<<
the Oi ty ,e~ttoI'ne,y and the Cl tiy Superintenc.ent could caloulate ef:J.ch res-
pecti ve bid arld d..eterrnine which was the best offered, said COITV;! ttee to

Mayor Niley brollght up the subJect of the hear1nt:; whioh had been
set for the avenin",; of Deoe'lber 12,1935, f'or Mr. Adams, the recorder,
stating that M.l'. ,ldams was now sick and woul.d not 'be able to attend the
hearing upon the date set. It was muvedby Gregg anti... seoonded by Hanf~en
that the hearing be postponed until Monda.y December 16, 1935 at 7:30
P.~. Motion carried.

been oontemplated being purchaued by the City.

Blake. second.ed by Int.;le that said license be renewed, motion carried.
A bill was read from ~im. Laing for a baJ..ance d..ue upon the heating
oontract for the 1'1081-'i tal of ~l30.35. 1.1oved by Blake and seconded by
Applewhite that the bill be allowed and ordered paid, motion carried.
