M. this data. Present: Mayor Wiley, Councilman Blake, GlJe'g, Ingle. Absent: Counoilmen Applewhite, Kansen, Wanner. E. J. (Chiok)Farlow was present and stated that Applewhite had left and that it would be neeessary to close the relief office unless sone other a~ra~ements could be made. He stated that he would take over the duties for ~50.00 per month additional to the $50000 he was now getting. He did not think that federal fUnds could be secured for this purpose. It was decided to defer the matter until the next opunc11 meeting. Letters of resighation of oouncilmen AppleWhite and Wenner were read. Moved by Gregg that the resignations be accepted and a Tote of thanks be extended to them. Seoonded by Blake. Carried. Iovad by Gregg that the charges against the City Recorder J. Q. Adams ie dismissed. Seoonded by Blake. Roll oall was ordered, the vote being Ayes: Blake, Gresg. Ingle. Nays: None. Carried. The quest'ton of a boxing oommission was brought up- Moved by Blake. s8oo'nded by Ingle that the City Attorney prepare an ordinance on the Boxin€ Commission. Carried.
