The meeting was called to order at 7:30 PM in the Civic Center
by Chairman Pro Tem Neil Benson; other members present were:
John Billings and Ethel Hansen. Planning Director John Frego-
nese, Associate Planner Steve Jannusch and Administrative
Secretary Ann Baker were also present.
PA #82 -68, amended Site Review for Jessica Lane. Applicants:

the changes in the landscaping and location of the irrigation
system. After a brief discussion the Hearings Board approved
the proposed changes.
PA #82 -69, 12 mos. extension of prior approval of MLP.
Applicant: Diane DeBey.
Fregonese reviewed the extension briefly and the Hearings Board
agreed with the staff approval of the extension.
PA #82 -70, Site Review for 62 -unit motel. Applicant:
Jeannie Guthrie.
Fregonese showed the plans for the proposed Flagship Inn
and explained that the motel is in the Freeway Sign Zone
and would be allowed a 46' high ground sign. He further
noted that the proposed landscaping exceeds the required
amount by nearly 100% and that the City Council had already
authorized the water hookup in view of the fact that the
site is in the water moratorium area. The Hearings Board
again agreed with the Staff approval.
ADJOURNMENT The Hearings Board adjourned to the study Session at 7:50 PM.
