The Counoil met in adjourned session at 7.30 P. M. this date. Present. Mayor Wiley.
Counoilmen Applewhite. Daugherty, Koozer. Putman, Redford, Selby. Absent. None.
The Citizen's Budget Committee oonsisting of G. W. DUNN. H. G. ENDERS. J. H. HARDY,
H. R. MORRIS, G. H. WENNER, and D. W. WHITTLE were also present.
The purpose of the meeting was "to pass upon the budget for the fisoal year, July
1, 1944 to June 30. 1946.
J. H. Hardy was elecbd ohairman and H. G. Ellders seoretary ef the eommi ttee.
Members were provided nth oopies of the proposed budget for the new n~ which
also ahowed aotual expenditures and revenues for tile past three and one-h&1r7pfua the
first half ot the ourrent year.
The various offioes ahd departments were taken up in order and passed upon w:l.thout
ohange except the Hospital Department to whioh an addition of $1.000 was made by inoo
oreasing the Furniture and Fixture item frolll $400.00 to .1,400.00. Motion being made by
Wenner, seconded by Enders and carried un....imoualy.
Upon the oompletion of the budget, it was moved by Enders and seconded by Morris
:that the budget as agreed upon amounting "to $41.845.00 be adopted. Carried unanimously.
On motion, the Committee adjourned
