The C01mcil met in adjourned session at 11:00 P. M. 'this date. Present. Mayor
Wiley. 'Councilmen Daugherty, Putman, Redford,Selby, Weitzel. Absent: Counoilman
Merrill.
The mee'ting was called in connection with the present wa'ter supply~ HosIer.
Water Sup't., sta'ted that there were 264 aore feet of water on hand this day, which
was 100 % s'torage wa'ter. Due 'to the poor quality of the water for domestic purposes,
Which had caused many protests from 'the public, immsdia'te aoti<?n was required.
Following discussion, i't was moved by Daugherty aDd ssconded by Redford 'that the
Water Superintendent be instructed 'to divert wa'ter from 'the power lines. Carried.
This, it was explained by 'the Water Superin'tendent would aid in improv4lng the con-
dition of the water used for domestic purposes, since it would no't all be s'torage
water andliOuld be Il'Iarated somewhat which would he~p 'to purity it.
