The Council met in adjourned session at 1100 P. M. this da'te. Present:

The matter of the purchase of a gas shovel was presen'ted by Ci'ty Sup't.

Upon motion by Redford, seoonded by Merrill, and ",.,,,,,;mnusly carr"'d, 'the
Ci'ty S*perintendent was au'thorind 'to purchase from 'the Columbia Equipment
Company, a gas shovel with hoe and boom attachments, and wi'th trail for the
sum. of 111,240.00, it appee.,eing 'tha't same was 'the lo_st am best bid.
A discussion relative to a site for a new postoffice took plaoe, with
DO decision.
Upon IIlOtion by Daugher'ty, seconded by Weibel and unan1mo1l81y carr66cl,
the Ci'ty Attorne; was au'thorhed to secure options for a nominal consideration
on the properly northerly frOI1l the proposed fire station site, on Firs't Street'i
