HomeMy WebLinkAbout1964-0911 ADJOURNED MIN . .. ASHLAND CITY COUNCIL ADJOURNED MEETING SEPTEMBER 11, 1964 The Common Council of the City of Ashland met in session at 12:00 noon this date. Mayor Neill presided. Baker, Peters, Ward and Whitham present. Absent: Kerr adjourned Councilman and Lewis. Discussion was entered into regarding request of Hillah Temple for a building permit on property located on Winburn Way. After considerable discussion regarding problems concerning classification of permit due to the fact that the old Zoning Ordinance #1261 is in effect until September 18, 1964 and that the delay in issuance of said permit has caused undue delay and expense to Hillah Temple, moved by Peters, seconded by Ward, that building permit be issued to Hillah Temple under Ordinance No. 1261 as an alteration. On roll call, carried unanimously. Dr. MacCracken, member of the Planning Commission, requested, that a site plan of land be included with building plans and that said area be requested to be classified as C-2 in the new zoning ordinance.
