HomeMy WebLinkAbout333 Tax Levy 1908 City Ordinance No. 333. ---C---------- An ordinance to levy a tax for municipal purposes upon the taxable property within the corporate limits of the City of Ash- land, Oregon, for the general expenses of said city for the year 1908 and requiring the city recorder to notify th-c clerk of the County Court of all delinquent special benefit assessments and docketed city liens and the penalties thereon as required'by section 2 of Article 12 of the Charter of said City. That "there be and is hereby levied upon all tho taxable property within the corporate limits of the City ofilshland, Jackson County, Oregon, the sum of mii Ile on the dollar for the purpose of paying the municipal expenses of the said city for the year 1908. Section 2. That the recorder be and hereby is instructed to notify the clerk of the County Court of Jackson County, Oregon, under the certificate of said recorder, of the rate per cent of the tax r levy as named in section 1 of this ordinance and of all delii?- quent s-pociul benefit assessi:ients and docketed city liens arid tr>' pens-ltios thereon, under th3 p-T"cvisions, of section 2 of Article 12 of the city charter as fol.I-on:s, to Jit: Serer Liens. 11. 23. Therefore this ordinance shall tak3 effect and be in for itaziedietol: upon its adoption by the council and a~)^roval uy 1-:aynr.
