ORDINANCE NO. 73/6_
AN ORDINANCE ADDING A NEW SECTION 6.04.085
TO THE ASHLAND MUNICIPAL CODE RELATIVE TO
EXEMPTIONS FROM THE BUSINESS LICENSE .TAX.
THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. A new Section 6.04.084 shall be added to the
Ashland Ffunicipal Code and shall read as follows:
"6.04.085 License Tax Exemptions. Non-profit
charita e, re igious or educational organizations
which have received a tax exemption certificate
from the Internal Revenue Service, and which devote
the net proceeds from the sale of goods or services
to the purpose of the organization, shall be exempt
from the payment of the license tax required by
Section 6.04.080".
SECTION 2. Chapter 6.04 shall be amended by changing the
words "License Fee" to "License Tax" wherever such words
occur.
The foregoing ordinance was first read on the5~/* day of
