ORDINANCE NO. a5'a`7'
AN ORDINANCE ADDING A PROVISION TO SECTION 11.04.010 OF THE ASHLAND
MUNICIPAL CODE WHICH RELATES TO THE ADOPTION OF STATE MOTOR VEHICLE
LAWS BY THE CITY OF ASHLAND; AND DECLARING IT AN EMERGENCY.
THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby added to the Ashland Municipal
Code Section 11.04.010 a new subpart "D", which is to read as follows:
"D. ORS Chanter 487."
SECTION 2. It is hereby adjudged and declared that the
existing conditions are such that this ordinance is necessary for
the preservation of the public health and safety of the people of
the City of Ashland and that an emergency is hereby declared to exist,
and this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval by the Mayor.
The foregoing ordinance was first read at a regular meeting
of the Common Council held on the o?o74' day of 77 oz ~z.l~~ 1984,
and passed to its second reading and duly passed on the day of
1984, the vote being as follows:
