AN ORDINANCE VACATING AN UNOPENED ALLEY
LOCATED BETWEEN EMERICK STREET AND MOUNTAIN
AVENUE, SOUTH OF "B" STREET.

WHEREAS, notice of a public hearing regarding the proposed
vacation of an unopened alley has been given a public hear-
ing held in accord with the provisions of Chapter 271 of
the Oregon Revised Statutes.
NOW THEREFORE, THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND DO ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. It is determined that the public interest will
e est served by the vacation of an unopened alley located
between Emerick Street and Mountain Avenue, souii.
Street, in the City of Ashland, Jackson County, Oregon, and
more particularly described as follows:
All that portion of a-15 foot wide alley located
in Block 3 of the Eureka Addition to the City of
Ashland, Jackson County, Oregon, being contiguous
to lots 45 through 66 inclusive and extending from
Emerick Street on the west to Mountain Avenue on
the East. Reserving therefrom a perpetual easement
for the installation and maintenance of present and
future public utilities over the above described
alley.
€ SECTION 2. For the foregoing reason, the portion of the un-
openne alley described above is hereby vacated.
The foregoing ordinance was first read on the /a day of
1980 and duly PASSED and ADOPTED this IS day
of 1900.
