Dear Ms. Phillips,
The City of Ashland would like to express our support for the Cascade Siskiyou Scenic Bikeway
designation. We are excited about expanding bicycle tourism in Southern Oregon through this
program.
We have jurisdiction of East Main Street, which serves as the first and last few miles of the
route, and we understand that we will be installing the initial signage and receiving
reimbursement for our work.
We are excited to promote biking in and around Ashland, which has earned a Gold level Bicycle
Friendly Community Designation. This route highlights some of the very best biking in Southern
Oregon, and we're happy to be a part of and support the efforts to designate it as some of the best
biking in the state.
