MUNICIPAL CODE RELATIVE TO THE HISTORIC COMMISSION AND
ABSENTEEISM.
THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Section 2.24.020 of the Ashland Municipal Code and
Section 2 of Ordinance No. 1842 shall be amended by adding the
following sentence thereto:
"Any Commissioner who is absent from four or more
meetings in a one-year period without being excused,
shall be considered no longer active and the position
vacant, and a new Commissioner shall be appointed to
fill the vacancy."
The foregoing ordinance was first read on the 3rd day of
October, 1989, and duly PASSED and ADOPTED this 17th day
of October, 1989.
