AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ASHLAND MUNICIPAL CODE TO ADD
THERETO A NEW CHAPTERv TO BE ENTITLED "CHAPTER 10.104--
ADOPTION OF STATE DEFINED MISDEMEANORS"; AND DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY.
THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby added to the Ashland Municipal Code a new
Chapter, being Chapter 10.104, to read in its entirety as follows:
"Chapter 10.104
ADOPTION OF STATE DEFINED MISDEMEANORS
10.104.010--Adoption of State Defined Misdemeanors. The
misdemeanors and provisions relating thereto contained in the
following chapters of the Oregon Revised Statutes are hereby
adopted by reference and as they exist on the effective date of
this ordinance:
Chapter 161.
Chapter 162.
Chapter 163.
Chapter 164.
Chapter 165.
Chapter 166.
Chapter 167.
General Provisions
Offenses Against the State and Public Justice
Offenses Against Persons
Offenses Against Property
Offenses Involving Fraud or Deception
Offenses Against Public Order; Firearms and
Other Weapons; Racketeering
Offenses Against Public Health, Decency and
Animals"
SECTION 2. It is hereby adjudged and declared that the existing
conditions are such that this Ordinance is necessary for the
preservation of the public health and safety of the people of the City
of Ashland, and that an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this
Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval by the Mayor.
The foregoing Ordinance was first read on the ~ _~e day of
