AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2.20.020 OF THE ASHLAND MUNICIPAL CODE
WHICH PERTAINS TO THE TERM OF THE MEMBERS OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE HOSPITAL.
THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 2.20.020 of the Ashland Municipal Code
is hereby amended to read in its entirety as follows:
"2.20.020 Term. The term of the voting
members of the Board shall be for four (4)
years and this is to apply to the current
members of the Board so that their terms are
extended to four (4) years. Any vacancy
shall be filled by appointment by the Mayor
and the approval of the Common Council for
the unexpired portion of the term except that
the chief of staff of the hospital shall fill
any unexpired term of the medical ex officio
staff member."
The foregoing Ordinance was read at a regular meeting of
the Common Council held on the ~'-~ day of ~]/~_~zA~-~ , 1989,
and passed to its second reading and duly adopted on the ~_w~_ day
of ~ , 1989.
