HomeMy WebLinkAbout2015-217 Agrmt Ext - ACCESS & OHOP - Energy Assistance AGREEMENT TO EXTEND OREGON LOW INCOME ENERGY ASSISTANCE AGREEMENT This Agreement to Extend Oregon Low Income Energy Assistance Agreement is entered into between Agency Name: ACCESS ("Agency") and Home Energy Supplier: City of Ashland ("HES"). Agency and HES may each be referred to as a "Party," or collectively as the "Parties." The State of Oregon, acting by and through its Housing and Community Services Department ("OHCS"), is a third-party beneficiary of this Agreement. WHEREAS, the Parties entered into the Oregon Low Income Energy Assistance Agreement ("Agreement") on October 1, 2014, with a term expiring as outlined in Section 4 of the agreement, and WHEREAS, the Parties desire to extend the Agreement for the period of October 1, 2015 through September 30, 2016. THEREFORE, in exchange for the mutual promises contained herein, the Parties agree to the terms and conditions set forth below: In accordance with Section 4.1(g) of the Agreement, the Parties agree to extend the Agreement through September 30, 2016. Except as expressly modified herein, the terms and conditions of the Agreement shall remain in full force and effect. OREGON HOUSING OPPORTUNITIES IN PARTNERSHIP ("OHOP") PROGRAM ("Agency") and Home Energy Supplier: CITY OF ASHLAND ("HES"). Agency and HES may each be referred to as a "Party," or collectively as the "Parties." The State of Oregon, acting by and through its Housing and Community Services Department ("OHCS"), is a third-party beneficiary of this Agreement. No changes have been made to the agreement for the 2016 program year. Enclosed, please find two copies of an Agreement to Extend the Oregon Low Income Energy Assistance Agreement for your business. This agreement becomes effective upon signature of both parties and shall remain in effect unless terminated by either party. Please complete and sign both copies.
