AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND ANNEXING A CONTIGUOUS
AREA TO THE CITY OF ASHLAND, OREGON AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE. (ADROIT CONSTRUCTION CO. ANNEXATION)
THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The land described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and
made a part hereof is contiguous to the City of Ashland and is
located in Jackson County, Oregon, and is hereby annexed to the
City of Ashland as provided in Section 2 of this ordinance.
SECTION 2. Upon the effective date of this ordinance, the City
Recorder, in accordance with ORS 222.177, is hereby authorized and
directed to make and submit to the Secretary of the State of
Oregon, a copy of this ordinance, a copy of the Statement of
Consent from the electorate of the tract annexed, and a copy of the
ordinance dispensing with the election on the proposed annexation,
and also upon the effective date hereof, the City Recorder is
authorized and directed to submit a copy of this ordinance to the
County Assessor and County Surveyor of Jackson County, Oregon.
The foregoing Ordinance was first read on the /~ ~-~ day of

ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF ASHLAND, OREGON
Description: 39 1E 14A, Tax Lot 1103
A tract or parcel of land sl%uated in the Northwest quarter of
the Northeast quarter of Section 14, Township 39 South, Range 1
East, Willamette Meridian, County of Jackson, State of Oregon
more fully described as follows:
Commencing at a 2 1/2 inch diameter brass disk monumenting the
accepted quarter corner common to Section 11 and Section 14,
Township 39 Sou%h, Range 1 East, Willamette Meridian, County of
Jackson, State of Oregon; thence South 1096.68 feet (Deed Record:
South 1096.68 feet); thence East 495.66 feet (Deed Record: East
495.66 feet) to a 5/8 by 24 inch iron pin marked: "Kauble, PLS
1822" situated at the Southwest corner of a tract of land as' per
Document Number 77-09634 Official Record Jackson County, Oregon,
the True Point of Beginning; thence South 89° 50' 57" East 63.15
feet along the southerly llne of a tract of land as per Document
Number 77-09634 Official Record Jackson County, Oregon (Record:
South 89° 50' 37" East 63.11 feet) to a found 5/8 inch iron pin;
thence South 89° 50' 57" East 26.03 feet (Record: South 89° 50'
37" East 26.07 feet) to a found 5/8 inch iron pin situated at
the intersection of said southerly boundary and the average
centerline of a creek; thence leaving said boundary, North 07°
40' 02" East 112.36 feet (Record: North 07° 40' 02" East 112.36
feet) along said centerline to a point witnessed by a 5/8 by 24
